KCI will work with Ka-Tel to offer a TV box for basic TVs. The TV will plug into the box via HDMI, and the box will plug into the network via RJ45. The box will then be able to record 4 channels at one time. To make the storage sufficient, the customer will buy a 2280 NVME drive which will do the recording. The box’s OS will be integrated into the motherboard for simplicity. The box will have a remote with a dedicated Ka-TV button for connecting to the TV network. There will also be a numeric keypad to enter channels directly without the need for consistent scrolling.
