ATA

KCI will produce ATA?s that would meet the needs of a consumer. There will be 1 telephone port for someone to plug in their older telephone, and there will be an RJ45 port for connecting to the LAN. In addition to the ports, there will be a display that would show how many voice messages there are. There will also be answering machine buttons which will interconnect with Ka-Tel’s voicemail system. While the ATA is optimized for Ka-Tel’s network, and system, it will be able to get configured for another SIP? provider. You would just need to know the credentials for your provider.

The P Series of the ATA will have 2 telephone ports, and support for 2 SIP providers. The answering machine buttons will also work, and there will be support for DECT? phones as well. A DECT phone will use the line 1 account to make, and receive calls.
