KCI will work with Ka-Tel to offer a TV box for those with basic TVs. The box will plug into the LAN via RJ45, and connect with a TV via HDMI. This will allow the TV box to connect with modern basic TVs for those that would rather have a basic TV. This will apply even for TVs produced by KCI. The TV box will have a 2280 NVME slot for recording, and can support up to 4 channels at one time. This will mean someone can record 4 channels at one time while watching something that was recorded. The TV Box will use the same OS as what would be on KCI produced smart TVs. The TV box will have a standard remote which will have a dedicated Ka-TV button for connecting to the TV network. There will also be a numeric keypad to enter channels directly without the need to do any real scrolling.
