The P Series is the top of the line printer not only for KCI, but maybe for other companies as well. As with the other series, the printer will have an ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), and will support auto-duplex copies/scans. The printer will also support auto-duplex printing. One could print by using a computer with USB-C, or directly to the LAN through RJ45, or Wifi-7. There will also be an SD card reader for the printer. The printer will have a download for Windows drivers for the printer. The user will use their computer to go to https://drivers.kci.ka/printers. The printer will also support 2 paper trays. Each tray can handle 100 sheets of paper, or 25 #10 envelopes. The printer will have a 1Ghz CPU, 4GB of memory, and a 128GB of storage.
The printer will also have some unique features only available on the P Series. This will include the option of having an email address for the printer. This email address will be user@print.kci.ka. This address will send any email to the printer, and the printer will either hold the pages to print in a storage, or print automatically. Obviously, one may not want to give out their printer’s email address. The printer can also support faxing. There will be no telephone jack on the printer as all telephony communications will carry over via the LAN, and therefore the internet. Instead, the user will setup their credentials in the printer, and the printer can then do faxes. This will make the printer not only a printer, but a copier, a fax machine, and a scanner. This will give versatility for those that needs a high end machine.
The Ink-tank model will cost $500, and the laser will cost $750. While both of these printers are more expensive, there is obviously reasons of why.
