DECT

This phone will look much like what a person might expect a home cordless phone to look like. The access point will plug directly into the LAN of the premise, and once configured, it will support 2 lines, and up to 5 phones. The phone will have a number pad, and all charging docks will use USB-C for sufficient charging, and powering the access point. Since voicemail is included with the provider, there is no need for a digital voicemail system. Since the access point for the phones are legacy free, there will be no way to plug in an answering machine even if the customer does not want to use the provider’s voicemail system.

As with all DECT phones, this one uses 1.9Ghz frequency band. This is sufficient for voice calls, and Caller ID information, while also offering a good range. Placing the access point towards the center of the premise should cover most premises with an assured connection.
