The A series eBook reader is the most basic of readers, and designed to meet the minimum specs for a reader in Kaldus. Since KCI is a Kaldan company, they must meet NSC requirements, and that is what this reader does. Essentially, it will be a basic and functional device. And since .klib files are supported, this will mean the reader will be able to use the Kaldan National Library. The reader will be $150. This may sound like a lot for a person that is low income, but keep in mind that there is GBI provided for under the NSC. This means $150 will affordable for almost everyone that would need an ebook reader. It also saves trees, and reduces the chance of damaging the book since your entire digital library can fit on the smallest micro-SD card possible (32GB). Since the reader supports .mp3 files, one could also add their music library to the reader, and listen to music (with bluetooth) while reading the book all on 1 device. This makes the price a little more affordable. This makes this minimum standard reader a viable solution.
