eBook Readers

eBooks will be the standard of the nation. Simply put, eBooks don’t cost paper which reduces the cost of the book, and saves trees, which by the way – we need. There are two classifications. There are your readers, and there are your tablets. The tablet will be one that will not only read eBooks, but also write using a stylus. This means that a tablet could eventually replace the need for paper notepads that again – cost money. The devices will meet NSC requirements, and therefore will be able to push to the education system. Since KCI is a Kaldan company, they must meet minimum NSC requirements.

KCI will keep to the minimum requirements for their A series reader. This is to keep the cost of the reader as low as possible to make it as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. The E and P series are more capable, but also more expensive. The E Series will only be sold for the education industry as there is no real reader that would meet the standards that were put in place by the NSC.
