The E Series is intended for educational institutions only. The E series will not be sold to the general public. For those that need an affordable PDA should consider the A Series, and for those that need more capable PDAs should consider the P Series. The E Series will have the following specs:
- 2.5Ghz Dual Core CPU, 6GB memory
- 128GB storage + micro-SDXC card slot
- 6″ and a resolution of 1080p
- 48MP rear, and 12MP front camera
- Wifi-6, NFC, and bluetooth 5 capability
- Fingerprint reader in the side button
- Single eSIM
The PDA is essential for getting class work done, and provide for a more equal playing field. The student can record the instructor lectures, and review them later. When in advanced math, the calculator app can do basic math operations which will be essential when doing pre-algebra lessons. With that said, the CPU is more than minimum requirements and the 128GB of storage is essential for OS and apps. The student will be recommended to get their own micro-SD card to do whatever the need for the card will support. This will include lectures, reading eBooks (if they don’t want to use the reader), and enjoy media content. Obviously, the larger the card, the more data that can be held.
A 48MP rear camera will allow the PDA to function as a basic point and shoot camera which is another reason for a good micro-SD card. It will also be essential if the student was to have a data plan since they will install the service via a QR code.
Wifi-6 will be important for connecting to wifi LANs, and therefore the internet. The bluetooth capabilities will be excellent for bluetooth earphones, and can even pair with a bluetooth keyboard to allow for typing in notes, or other text if they would wish something to be in their PDA, although in reality, a computer will work better.
The fingerprint reader will protect the device from a bad actor that might steal the device. This will be pretty low for someone to steal an invaluable tool for school from a student, but unfortunately, this is a concern. If the device is stolen, then the device is protected from entry.
