The DECT Phone will be the terrestrial capable phone. The phone will connect to a DECT access point and/or a Wifi connection. The phone dialer will support 10 accounts including 1 account for the DECT access point. This allows the user to support multiple incoming accounts, and make calls through a primary account. Since the phone is very much like a cellular phone (without the cellular capability), all of the DECT phones will run a version of Kal-OS to operate. The phone app will be how the user can setup multiple accounts to connect with the line. The phone will have the following qualities:
- 2Ghz Dual Core CPU, 4GB memory
- 128GB storage + micro-SDXC card slot
- 6.3″ and a resolution of 350ppi
- 12MP rear camera, and 12MP front camera
- Eco-DECT, Wifi-6, NFC, and bluetooth 5 capability
Access Point
The access point will be a standard Eco-DECT access point with support for 2 accounts. This will be set up by logging into the device’s web portal via the LAN. The access point will be able to support 10 devices which is more than the conventional 4-6 devices. Also, the extra phones do not have to be a KCI phone, but any phone that is DECT supported should work. With that in mind, buying the access point will include 1 phone as noted above, and additional phones can also be purchased. All phones’ phone app will support DECT as a provider along with 9 other SIP accounts. For simplicity, only 1 account can be used for outgoing calls.
