Kal-OS

Kal-OS will be the official operating system for all of Kaldan computers. For the educational and government acquisitions, this OS will be the only choice. For private consumers, this OS will be the preferred option, but will also offer Zorin-OS. Microsoft Windows will not be offered as an option, but the systems will run the OS nonetheless. The consumer will just have to acquire the OS on their own. The idea with this OS is to offer a tight integration with every device that KCI offers. Much like Apple’s ecosystem, KCI will want to build a unified eco-system and for that to work, they must build the OS from the ground up using the Debian OS as the base.

While mostly thought of with the computer, there will actually be a few versions of Kal-OS. There will be Kal-OS (Computer), Kal-OS (Handheld), Kal-OS (Printer), and Kal-OS (TV). Each edition of the OS will be tailored for that device’s needs. For the sake of keeping things simple, only the computer edition will be noted here. Keep in mind, this is a fictional company and not too much of effort needs to be involved with selling the idea.
