For office applications, there will only be one, and that would be Libre Office. Libre Office will write on read open document format files. For example, Libre Write will handle .odt files. Libre Office can also handle most Microsoft Office files. Since Kal-OS is a variant of Linux, only the web version of MS Office will be supported. However, Libre Office is available on Linux, MacOS, and Windows – so this is a more cross platform suite than MS Office. LibreOffice consist of the following applications:
- Base – Database
- Calc – Spreadsheet
- Impress – Presentation
- Draw – Drawing Application
- Math – Formula
- Writer – Word Processor
